I was born in India and brought up in East Africa. I’ve worked in a big engineering business, and I’m fascinated by the psychology of teams and organisations, and how change happens in those settings. That’s how I made my living and built up my experience. 

Frustrated by the inability of many academics to express their ideas in everyday language, I wrote some readable management books about high-performance team-working, project leadership and how technology was changing our concept of organisations. 

I then started doing a lot of stuff to reduce my carbon footprint. From those experiences I learned that doing it wasn’t simple. When I realised how difficult it was for many other people, too, to get to grips with climate change and to know how to start doing something about it, I thought I might have something to offer, and the result is …
